Hi, I’m Jay Cohen from Blass Law, and a lot of people have asked, “Should we fear the police right now during this coronavirus pandemic?” Well, I’m not gonna tell you what to fear and what not to fear, but here are the facts as of when we made this video.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed 21 employees have tested positive for coronavirus. The Houston Police Department has confirmed 19 employees have tested positive. And the Harris County Jail has reported three inmates have tested positive.
It’s important that everyone right now stays home, is careful and doesn’t get caught committing any crimes. If you go to jail, you’re gonna come in contact with a lot of people: jailers, police officers and other inmates. You don’t want anything from jail that you can’t wash off when you get out.
So remember, wash your hands, wear a mask, wear gloves and call Blass Law.
