To recover damages, you generally must show the property owner knew or reasonably should have known about a dangerous condition, such as a wet floor or broken step, and failed to fix it or provide adequate warning within a reasonable time.
You must also show that condition caused your injury. Photos, incident reports, and prompt medical documentation all help establish these elements.
